About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiasticProduction Assistant/Chocolatierto join our full-time team at Noosa Chocolate Factory in Noosaville, QLD.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic, creative environment where craftsmanship and quality are paramount.
In this role, you will be at the heart of our chocolate production operations, contributing directly to the creation of our signature products.
You will work alongside experienced chocolatiers and production staff, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in all aspects of chocolate production, from tempering and crafting to packaging.
This is an ideal position for someone with a genuine passion for chocolate-making or want to get away from you late nights of hospitality and a desire to develop their skills in this specialised field.
Best of all - the hours are Mon-Fri 7am - 3pm - no night shifts, no weekends.
Key responsibilities
Assist in the production of high-quality chocolate products, including tempering and hand-crafting chocolates
Prepare and mix chocolate batches according to precise recipes and quality specifications




Operate chocolate production equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining all machinery in good working order
Perform quality control checks on products to ensure they meet our exacting standards before packaging
Package finished products in accordance with company standards and customer requirements
Maintain a clean, hygienic and organised production workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist with inventory management, stock rotation and ordering of raw materials
Support senior chocolatiers and production staff, learning techniques and best practices to develop professional expertise
Follow all company policies, procedures and food safety protocols consistently
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team setting and assist with other production tasks as required
What we're looking for
Passion for chocolate-making and confectionery production with genuine interest in learning the craft
Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain consistent quality in a fast-paced production environment
Physical fitness and stamina, as the role involves standing for extended periods and repetitive hand movements
Food safety awareness and understanding of hygiene best practices in food production
Reliability,



punctuality and a strong work ethic with a commitment to meeting production deadlines
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a willingness to take direction from supervisors and experienced staff
Previous experience in food production, bakery, pastry or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
