The Chance
We are seeking two dedicated Community Coordinators to lead our Eldergreen and Surrey Communities starting January, ****.
In this pivotal role, you will foster student wellbeing and provide the guidance needed to help our students maximise their learning potential within the College.
The Role
Monitoring the wellbeing of students within the community and identifying and managing students who are deemed at riskCollaborate with the relevant Head of School,



Counsellor and Assistant Head of School to provide further support in relation to counselling and guidance of students including referral to outside agencies where necessarySupport Community staff and, where appropriate, take direct action in the counselling, guidance and behaviour management of studentsOrganising Community activities, such as: Community gatherings, Community Dinners, fundraising events, Spring Carnival and Athletics and Swimming CarnivalsAbility to collaborate with other Pedare staffAbility to relate well to students, recognising both the pastoral and educative aspects of the student-teacher relationshipMaintain an interest in the welfare of students and promote the wellbeing of studentsSome out of hours may be required due to role requirements
