Polaris Engineering Services needs a team player for a Yard Hand position in Henderson, WA.
We are a busy steel fabrication business with two local fab workshops and a surface treatment facility.
We are a heavy engineering provider with clients in the mining, resources and industrial sectors.
The role is varied and requires you to safely load & unload deliveries or move fabricated items through production and surface treatment.
You will need to assist with rigging activities and general yard hand duties such as receiving deliveries, packing goods for despatch or basic assembly works.
The role is yard/workshop based in Henderson WA with an immediate start available!!!

Rate dependent on tickets and experience




Successful applicants to have:
Worksafe HRWL with LF, RB or RI classes (essential)
Work at Heights (essential)
Telehandler (preferred)
Skid steer/Bobcat (preferred)
Crane Operating Tickets (desireable)
Manual DL
White Card / Construction Induction
Teamwork and communication skills.
Conscientious attitude.
Safety First attitude
Ability to pass DAS
Physical ability to do a range of tasks: pack/unload trucks, move steel from workshops to paint shops, pack pallets, etc.
