The General Practitioner will provide patient-centered primary care, including taking medical histories, performing examinations, ordering and interpreting tests, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans.
Daily responsibilities include managing acute and chronic illnesses, prescribing medications, providing preventive health care, and coordinating referrals to specialists and allied health providers as needed.
The role involves collaborating with nursing and administrative staff, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and participating in practice meetings and quality improvement activities.




The General Practitioner will also contribute to patient education, health promotion, and may support training and mentorship for other clinical team members.Qualifications Strong clinical skills in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of presentations in a general practice setting.Experience or training in Family Medicine, with a focus on continuity of care for individuals and families across the life span.Ability to work collaboratively with Nursing and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, team-based care.Commitment to Training and ongoing professional development, including staying current with clinical guidelines and best practices.Relevant medical degree and full, unrestricted registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate medical board in Australia.Demonstrated skills in communication, cultural sensitivity, and respectful engagement with diverse patient populations.Experience in primary care or community medicine settings is highly desirable.Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage a consistent full time workload on site.
