The Client
Our client is a specialized manufacturer of mobile and fixed plant screening and crushing equipment used predominately in the mining and construction industry.
The organization has specialized manufacturing facilities in Singapore, China and Perth with branches in every State in Australia.
Due to a high demand of their specialized equipment, our client is seeking several Mechanical Trades Assistants for 4 to 6 weeks work with a very strong chance of the work been extended up to 6 months and possibly permanent work.
The Work
Working alongside Mechanical Fitters you maybe working on current builds which is mainly assembly work in fitting small and large crushing and screening components such as conveyors belts, screens, hydraulic hoses, screens, motors and crushers.
If assigned to repair and overhaul, you will be working across jobs big and small from simple change outs of hydraulic hoses and hydraulic manifolds through to removing and replacing crushers, diesel engines, conveyors and screens.
Working Days & Hours
Location:Henderson
Working Days:Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturday Morning maybe requested)
Working Hours:6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (1/2 Hour Lunch)
The Candidate
Candidates do not require any trade qualifications, however candidates possessing experience in TA work in Automotive or Fixed Plant assembly, maintenance, repair or overhaul are high on our list.
Your attitude and work ethic will be a focus where we are seeking Mech TA's that have a positive attitude,
possess initiative and can work well in teams.
Candidates that have worked as the following or similar will be considered.
TA Mechanical – Automotive / Trucks / Mobile Plant
TA Mechanical – Fixed Plant – Ore Processing / Pumps
TA – Industrial Plumbing (Fixed Plant)
Process or Plant Technicians
Partially completed a Mechanical related apprenticeship in Automotive or Fixed Plant
Candidates whose trade is not recognized in Australia
Candidates that possess the below experience and / or relevant high risk licenses are encouraged to apply.
High Risk – Fork Lift License
Experience in lifting heavy loads on fork lifts
Dogging or Rigging heavy loads for Overhead Cranes
Operating Overhead Cranes
Essential criteria include;
Have a positive attitude possessing initiative, intelligence and good organisational skills
Conducts themselves in a highly professional manner at all times in a workshop environment
Be reliable, punctual and have a great work ethic
Be physically fit with the ability to undertake physically demanding tasks
Be safety conscious
Take pride in your work
Have contactable references
Be a permanent resident with full working rights
Possess a Current Drivers License and reliable Vehicle
Remuneration
Depending on your experience, the pay rate will be between;
$***** to $***** per hour (Flat)
+ Super
