**Perhaps you've spent years moving trailers and know your way around a busy yard — but now you'd rather put those skills to use off the freeway?
As WingfieldYard Tug Driverat Collins Transport, you'll play a key role in keeping our yard operations running smoothly — managing trailer movements, coordinating with drivers and operations, and keeping the trailers moving safely and efficiently.
Full-Time
Monday to Friday - 5pm start time
RESPONSIBILITIES
Organise and coordinate the placement of trucks and trailers within the depot
Move trailers on/off loading docks and around depot using a yard tug
Ensure the efficient use of yard space to maximise operational flow
Communicate with drivers and operations team to manage placement of trailers
Couple and uncouple trailers consistently throughout shift
Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues related to trailer and truck placements
Report any damages, accidents, or incidents that occur within the yard
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Excellent reversing skills onto loading docks (preferrably B-doubles)
Proven ability to couple/uncouple trailers
Leadsership and organisational skills, proven within the transport industry
Current HC (or above) licence




Experience operating a yard tug (preferred however prime mover experience is welcomed)
Experience with refrigerated transport (preferred)
