Job Description
SA Disability Care SA Disability Care is seeking a full-time Chief Information Officer to lead and manage the organisation's information technology strategy, systems, digital platforms and data security.
The role will support business growth, improve internal systems, manage IT risks, and ensure technology is used effectively across disability care operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to plan, implement and monitor IT projects, improve digital processes, manage system performance, and ensure compliance with privacy, security and operational requirements.

Oversee the organisation's ICT infrastructure, software systems, data management, cyber security and digital communication platforms.
Plan and direct the selection, implementation, maintenance and improvement of ICT systems used across client care, staff coordination, rostering, reporting and administration.
Identify technology needs across the business and recommend practical digital solutions to improve service delivery, compliance, efficiency and internal processes.
Manage ICT projects, system upgrades, external vendors, budgets,



timelines and technology-related contracts.
Ensure ICT systems support NDIS reporting, privacy obligations, client records management, staff access, operational workflows and business continuity.
Monitor cyber security, data protection, privacy and system access controls to protect client, staff and organisational information.
Provide strategic advice to senior management on ICT risks, digital improvements, system performance and future technology planning.
Lead digital transformation initiatives, including reporting tools, automation, system integration and improved use of technology across care operations.
Develop, review and maintain ICT policies, procedures, compliance standards and staff guidance for safe and effective system use.
Qualification & experience Relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Systems Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent senior ICT management experience.
Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in ICT management, IT systems management, digital transformation, IT project delivery or senior technology leadership.
Demonstrated experience developing ICT strategies, managing IT infrastructure, software systems, data management,



cyber security and business continuity.
Experience managing ICT vendors, system upgrades, budgets, service agreements, SLAs, KPIs and technology-related contracts.
Robust understanding of privacy, data protection, system access controls, reporting systems and secure management of organisational information.
Experience in health care, disability care, aged care, NDIS, community services or other client-service environments will be highly regarded.
Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving and staff training skills.
ITIL, Agile, Microsoft, database administration, cloud systems or cyber security experience will be highly regarded.
