About Role:
New and exciting opportunities have become available for a team of motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapists to grow their careers and provide the best quality care for our patients.
You will be providing clinical support as part of the Occupational Therapy team at the Joondalup Health Campus Mental Health Unit.
The MHU has undergone major redevelopment and has a new facility with a capacity of 102 beds, including adult, youth and older adult units.
Rotational and Non-Rotational Roles –Permanent Full-time and casual
Non-rotational positions are permanently based within the Mental Health Unit.
Rotational positions form part of our established P1 rotation program, which includesAcute medical, Orthopaedics, Rehabilitation and Stroke.

About you:
Skills and Experience
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent with AHPRA registration
Sound clinical reasoning and clinical decision-making skills
Previous experience working in an acute or rehabilitation/hospital setting is desirable
Well-developed organisational and time management skills
Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and workloads
Confidently work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, service providers, external agencies, patients, families and caregivers
Versatile and positive approach to work.
Evidence of ability to identify clinically appropriate interventions and implement evidence-based practice into service development




Well-developed skills in preparing written reports and NDIS applications
Experience in group facilitation especially psychoeducation groups is desirable
Completion or progress towards a relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable

Additional Information
