Trades Assistant
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Trade Assistant will join a supportive and collaborative Maintenance and Reliability team at Harvey Beef, Western Australia's largest beef processor.
The Trade Assistant will play a key role in ensuring plant reliability and production efficiency.

Working in arotating day/night roster (7-day fortnight rotation), you'll be responsible for assisting the Fitter's, conducting repairs and maintenance of Harvey Beef Plant and for maintaining the workshop and associated equipment in a protected, clean and tidy condition in our state-of-the-art facility located in Harvey, WA.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Fitter's in repairing and servicing Plant equipment
Lubricate all the plant equipment including the hand tools.
Clean workshop area, tools.
Perform other routine duties as required
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring:
High school certificate or equivalent education certificate or one to three months related experience and or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Forklift certificate (desirable)
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn and develop
Hold a current national Manual "C" class driver's license
Previous mechanical experience
