We are seeking an experiencedWorkshop Managerto lead our Cairns operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong technical background in eitherAuto ElectricalorTransport Refrigerationwho can effectively manage people, workflow and customer relationships.

About the Role
As Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the workshop
Leading, mentoring and supporting technicians and apprentices
Planning and scheduling workshop jobs to maximise productivity
Ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Providing technical support and guidance to the team
Managing parts procurement and supplier relationships
Monitoring workshop performance, efficiency and profitability
Maintaining a safe and compliant workplace




Building and maintaining robust customer relationships
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
✔ Trade qualifications and experience in either:
Auto Electrical, or
Transport Refrigeration
✔ Previous experience leading a team or supervising technicians
✔ Robust diagnostic and problem-solving skills
✔ Excellent communication and customer service abilities
✔ A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
✔ Sound computer and administration skills
✔ Current driver's licence
