The ProjectSamsung C&T; Corporation Australia, as part of the TasVic Greenlink joint venture with DT Infrastructure; has been awarded the contract to deliver the Balance of Works package for Marinus Link Stage 1.
About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Land Advisor to join us on this once-in-a-generation project, acting as a key interface between the project and the private landholder community.
Reporting to the Land Manager, the Land Advisor will be responsible for identifying and understanding landholder concerns and effectively communicating these internally to support successful project delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary liaison between the Delivery Team / Sub-Contractors with all affected landholders to facilitate early, respectful, and ongoing engagement across the land engagement team.Maintain oversight of a detailed landholder engagement register, tracking key interactions, agreements, and concerns in collaboration with landholders, construction team members and environment / sustainability team.Ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations relating to land use and access.Ensure compliance with landholder expectations and requirements as per Property Management Plans, Access Licences, Options Deeds and Construction Property Management Plans.
Compliance will be documented in nominated software platforms to ensure deliverables and metCollaborate with engineering and construction teams to communicate and advocate on landholder issues, concerns, constraints and access requirements.Represent the project in dealings with landowners, government agencies, and local authorities,
and the client on land matters.Support community and stakeholder engagement activities as they relate to land access and landholder engagement.Identify emerging risks and/or potential threats early regarding landholder communications and behaviour.
Experience and CapabilitiesBachelor's degree in a relevant field (Land Management, Communications, PR, Project Management).
Experience in stakeholder engagement, land access, or community relations, ideally on infrastructure or regional projects.Solid stakeholder management, including conflict resolution and issue de-escalation.Understanding of construction activities, land access in rural settings, and associated impacts.Experience working across multidisciplinary teams, with solid data and document management skills.
