Superior Meats is expanding our team and looking for an experienced butcher who takes pride in their craft, delivers exceptional customer service, and enjoys working in a fast‐paced, community‐focused workplace.
About the Role
We're seeking a reliable and skilled butcher to join our shop on a casual and part‐time basis.
The role involves a mix of production, customer service, and general shop duties.
Key Responsibilities
Break down, prepare, and present a wide range of meat cuts to high standards
Operate machinery safely (bandsaw, mincer, slicer, etc.)
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and OH&S; practices
Serve customers with professionalism and product knowledge
Assist with stock rotation, packing, labelling, and merchandising
Work collaboratively with the team to keep the shop running smoothly
About You
Qualified butcher or significant hands‐on experience in the trade
Strong knife skills and attention to detail
Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers
Reliable,



punctual, and able to work independently when required
Able to work in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace
No two days are the same!
Hours
Causal Butcher & Part Time Butcher available to work up to 30 hours including availability on Saturdays
