The Secondary Mathematics Educator plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-informed mathematics education that develops students' mathematical understanding, reasoning, problem-solving and confidence with academic rigor. Through engaging learning experiences that reflect the distinctive educational philosophy of HILLS - Planted in Christ, Growing with Nature and Nurtured to Thrive - the Mathematics Educator empowers students to think critically, apply mathematical concepts to authentic contexts and become capable learners who are equipped to make a positive difference in the world.
The ability to teach across the full range of Secondary Mathematics, including SACE subjects, will be highly regarded.
For the successful applicant, there is an opportunity to undertake an additional leadership responsibility as Mathematics Learning Area Coordinator (Faculty Leader).
