The role
We are seeking an experienced Machinist / Welder / Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Booyong, NSW.
This full-time role will involve a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our food production facilities.
What you'll be doing
Perform machining, welding and maintenance work on a range of food processing equipment
Inspect, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components
Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime
Fabricate and modify parts and equipment as required
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Comply with all health, safety and quality control protocols
What we're looking for
Relevant trade qualifications, such as Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
Demonstrated experience as a Machinist, Welder or Maintenance Fitter in a food production or manufacturing environment




Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of equipment
Proficiency in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG and stick welding
Ability to undertake rotating shift rosters including weekends.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
