Job Description
Head of Learning (Mathematics) – Commencing in January ****.
Working within the Learning Area for Years 7 to 12, the Head of Learning will implement the College's strategic agenda to improve learning outcomes by managing curriculum and assessment across the Mathematics discipline.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and reviewing curriculum plans and assessment strategies to meet national standards.
Coaching and supporting mathematics teachers through observation and feedback sessions to foster continuous improvement.
Facilitating a culture of innovation and best practice within the mathematics learning area.
Ensuring alignment with the College's Strategic Plan and overall educational objectives.
Qualifications and experience:




Qualified teacher with Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
Demonstrated leadership experience within a teaching setting.
Robust commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and innovative practice.
Employment terms:
Fixed‐term Position of Added Responsibility reviewed on a three‐year cycle with the possibility of extension.
Successful candidate will be offered an ongoing substantive teaching position at the College.
