Duty Manager/Team Leader - Gold Coast Airport
Location: Gold Coast Airport based – Coolangatta area
Role overview: Duty Manager will control the day-to-day operations of all staff and fleet at the Airport, coaching counter staff to ensure the Customer Service and Sales process is followed, managing team members, and coordinating vehicle flow in the car park and wash.
This is a busy, hands-on leadership role critical to the operation of the business.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the team on shift through sales coaching and mentoring
Market Avis Budget products and services by identifying customer needs, maximizing sales opportunities, and meeting sales goals set by management
Ensure vehicles prepared for rental meet company standards for cleanliness, mechanical/body condition, and roadworthiness
Check returned vehicles for body damage and report as necessary
Work efficiently in a team environment to maintain a culture of service excellence and achieve organisational goals under limited supervision
Develop and foster a harmonious team environment through counselling and resolving conflicts and disciplinary issues with guidance from the Branch Manager
Roster and schedule employees to meet business needs
Meet Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Client Service Incentive (CSI) targets
Participate in recruitment and selection of current staff where required
Requirements
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role with coaching and mentoring skills
Understanding and use of Customer Service and Sales techniques and processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety
Full Driver's license and flexibility to work a rotating roster
