We are seeking an experienced Client Manager to oversee a portfolio of integrated facilities and cleaning contracts across the Sydney region.
About the role
In this role you will manage client satisfaction, service delivery and contract performance for a portfolio of sites, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed service levels.
You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, spending significant time on site building strong relationships with stakeholders and frontline teams.
Key responsibilities
Own the performance of a portfolio of facilities and cleaning contracts, including ancillary services
Manage client relationships and drive high levels of customer satisfaction
Ensure service delivery meets contractual service level agreements and quality standards
Coordinate new contract start-ups and manage contract exits
Conduct and document regular site inspections (quality, safety, environment, equipment)
Oversee programmed and special services and resolve non-conformances with corrective actions
Review timesheets/rosters for accuracy each pay period and support operational meetings
Manage stock control, equipment maintenance, testing and tagging across your portfolio
Work within budgeted labour, materials, subcontractor and profitability targets
Support and guide employees, subcontractors and suppliers, including performance and behaviour
Champion WHS, environmental requirements and a positive safety culture
Skills and experience
Proven experience managing a demanding workload in a fast-paced, service-based environment
Robust background in cleaning and/or facilities management, with experience managing teams
Demonstrated customer service focus with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging with all levels
Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel, email and basic databases or workforce systems
Qualifications and requirements
Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
Relevant qualifications in business administration, people management or facilities management are advantageous but not essential
Ability to work additional and after-hours as required to support large commercial contracts
