About the roleThe Clinical Manager is a key leadership role for the facility located at our Peter Cosgrove House, Narrabeen.
The role provides clinical leadership and oversees all aspects of the Clinical and Care practice, delivering high‐quality care to the community and managing collaborative care planning in partnership with residents and their representatives.
The Clinical Manager supervises nursing and care teams, manages the local clinical governance framework, and plays a central role in the quality improvement cycle for the facility.
Reporting to the Facility Manager, responsibilities include:Driving a positive internal culture among the team of nurses and care staffEnsuring clinical and care team members embed quality care and clinical governance systems and processes aligned to the LifeCare WaySupporting cost‐management initiatives within the facility, aligning labour costs with income streams such as AN‐ACCDeveloping care plans, establishing optimal, quality lifestyle goals and ensuring compliance with the Aged Care StandardsLeading engagement with key clinical stakeholders including resident families, suppliers and referring cliniciansAbout YouCurrent AHPRA registration as a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, no conditions placed upon registrationMinimum five years' postgraduate clinical experience within health care,
