About The Role
We are building our team of casual Water Metering Technicians for upcoming projects.
The position offers consistent full‐time hours (38+ hours per week) and the possibility to become permanent.
We seek individuals who are independent, team‐oriented, and eager to learn.
What You'll Be Doing – A Day in the Life
Check your schedule each morning.
Head out to site.
Attend approximately 30+ residential or commercial properties per day.
Perform field metering activities including installing/replacing meters, installing/replacing data loggers and completing metering investigations.
Accurately record meter specifications and site data using a mobile app.
Log each completed job on our mobile app before moving to the next.
Key Responsibilities
Water meter replacement & assembly maintenance.
Follow correct replacement procedures.
Customer service – face‐to‐face and phone.
Perform tasks within budgets and time frames.
Communicate regularly with office support team.
Maintain accurate and timely digital job installation records.




Ensure that all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with state and company OH&S; policies and procedures.
Work independently day to day and to a schedule.
About You
Strong mechanical aptitude – proficient with hand tools.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
An aptitude for problem solving.
Attention to detail – data accuracy is essential.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to work under supervision both individually and occasionally in a team setting.
Able to do a lot of bending, squatting and walking (moderate degree of physical fitness).
Ability to work in most weather conditions.
Flexible and comfortable with daily travel.
A current driver's licence.
A red/white card.
