Project Coordinator | 12-Month Contract
South of the River | $700 per day + Super

About the Role
As Project Coordinator, you'll be at the centre of project delivery, supporting governance, reporting, financial administration, stakeholder engagement and team coordination.
No two days will be the same.
One day you could be facilitating governance meetings and preparing executive reporting, the next you'll be coordinating financial forecasting, managing project documentation or organising team events.
You'll work closely with the Program Manager and project stream leads, ensuring projects stay on track, risks are managed and stakeholders are kept informed.
What You'll Be Doing
Project Governance & Coordination
Coordinate project governance activities and reporting calendars
Prepare agendas, meeting packs and supporting documentation
Facilitate governance meetings and capture actions and decisions
Track outstanding actions through to completion
Reporting & Documentation
Produce professional meeting minutes and project reports




Maintain project registers including risks, issues, opportunities and lessons learned
Ensure all project documentation is current, accurate and stored within Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
Maintain version control across all project artefacts
Financial Coordination
Process invoices and support monthly financial reporting
Assist with Opex and Capex forecasting
Manage accruals, project journals and depreciation updates
Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate project cost reporting
Stakeholder & Project Communications
Prepare executive presentations and leadership reporting packs
Coordinate project communications across multiple stakeholder groups
Support change management activities and project updates
Capture and distribute project progress photos and updates
Team & Project Support
Coordinate project events and team engagement initiatives
Support the Program Manager and project leads with priority activities
Help improve project processes and reporting standards
Be the go-to person who keeps the project organised and running efficiently
About You
You'll be someone who enjoys being the backbone of a project team and takes genuine satisfaction in delivering high-quality work.
You'll ideally bring:




Previous experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar project support role
Experience working within large construction, infrastructure, logistics or supply chain projects (highly regarded)
Outstanding organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels
The ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines
A proactive approach with a willingness to jump in wherever required
Skills & Qualifications
You'll ideally have experience with:
Monday.com
Microsoft Office Suite
Microsoft Teams
SharePoint
D365
Concur
CAD experience (advantageous)
Desirable qualifications include:
Tertiary qualification
Project Management or Change Management qualification
PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile or Lean certification
Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain one)
