About the Roles
Physiotherapist (HP1 / early HP2)
Ideal for new graduates through to clinicians with 2–6 years' experience.
You will:
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services
Build clinical confidence, autonomy, and reasoning
Participate in structured supervision, mentoring, and CPD programs
Contribute to team culture and multidisciplinary collaboration
Manage a caseload appropriate to your experience level
Progress through a clear capability and pay-point framework (HP1.1 / HP2.1)
This role is perfect for clinicians who want strong support, structured development, and a clear pathway toward Senior Physiotherapist classification.
Senior Physiotherapist (HP2)
Ideal for clinicians with
2-3+ years' experience
who demonstrate advanced reasoning, professional maturity, and mentoring capability.
You will:
Provide advanced clinical care across moderately complex caseloads
Supervise and mentor graduate and early-career physiotherapists
Support onboarding, shadowing, and competency development
Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement
Deliver internal CPD, case reviews, and education sessions
Represent Vector Health in community engagement activities
Maintain utilisation and cancellation benchmarks consistent with senior expectations (e.g., *****% utilisation, <*****% cancellations)
Senior Physiotherapists at Vector Health are recognised for their clinical expertise, leadership behaviours, and contribution to service quality.
Eligibility & Progression
Physiotherapist (HP1 / early HP2)
Bachelor/Masters of Physiotherapy
AHPRA registration
Commitment to ongoing CPD and reflective practice
Participation in supervision and case review programs
Progression aligned with the Physiotherapist Capability Framework (New Grad / Experienced Physiotherapist)
Senior Physiotherapist (HP2)
Mandatory criteria include:
Bachelor/Masters of Physiotherapy + AHPRA registration
Minimum 4 years FTE experience or portfolio evidence of HP2 competence
Advanced skills in at least one clinical area
Ability to manage moderately complex caseloads independently
Demonstrated mentoring and supervision capability
