Communications Foreman
About the Role
We're looking for an experiencedCommunications Foremanto join our growing team, delivering commercial construction projects across the Perth metro area.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating communications installations, managing site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate communications works across commercial construction projects.
Supervise site labour and subcontractors to meet project schedules and quality standards.
Install, test, commission and certify structured cabling and communications systems.
Interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation.
Plan labour, materials and equipment requirements and monitor project progress.
Liaise with Project Managers, Supervisors and clients to resolve site issues.
Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, Australian Standards and client specifications.
Complete project documentation, testing records and handover packages.
Identify and communicate variations, risks and resource requirements.

About You
Current Open Cabling Registration / ACMA registered cabler,



including relevant endorsements or competencies for the work being performed (e.g. structured cabling, optical-fibre, co-axial and/or underground).
Current C Class Drivers Licence.
Demonstrated experience in communications installation, structured cabling, terminations, testing, fault finding and commissioning.
Experience in interpreting communications drawings, specifications, cable schedules, rack layouts and equipment schedules.
Ability to prepare accurate material request forms and communicate procurement requirements to the Supervisor.
Excellent communication, liaison, and reporting skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven management and leadership skills within a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate communications works across multiple allocated project(s), including labour planning, material requirements, testing, commissioning and handover documentation.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
Knowledge and supervision of safe working practices involving all operational staff.
Sound IT skills and a sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office Business Suite.
