About the Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of the business, ensuring our accounts and payroll functions operate efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end payroll processing.
Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
Processing supplier invoices and payments.
Customer account management and credit control.
BAS preparation assistance and reporting.
Superannuation, payroll tax and statutory obligations.
Data entry and maintenance of financial records.
Assisting with month-end reporting.
General administration and office support.
About You
The successful applicant will:
Have previous experience in an Accounts and Payroll position.
Have a sound understanding of bookkeeping principles and payroll legislation.
Be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
Be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be trustworthy, reliable and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
Work well independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.
Take pride in producing accurate work and meeting deadlines.
Have a positive attitude and a willingness to continually improve processes.
