What You Will Be Doing In This Role
We take pride in providing not only top‐notch medical care but also nutritious, well‐balanced meals for our patients.
Our hospital kitchen is a vital part of our mission to promote health and healing, and we are looking for a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our team on a part time basis working Mon‐Fri, 30 hours per week.
In this role you will primarily be responsible for cleaning the kitchen.
You'll ensure the kitchen remains spotless and hygienic, clean dishes, and help organise storage areas.
You'll be supported by our great team, and work closely with other kitchen staff in a busy and vibrant setting.
Who We're Looking For
While prior experience in a similar role is an advantage, it's your positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to being part of our team that truly matter.
You'll have a strong work ethic and willingness to give 100% to support the team.
You'll adhere to strict health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
You'll be self‐motivated, always going above and beyond to provide excellent service to our patients.
You'll demonstrate excellent interpersonal abilities, communicating professionally and thoughtfully.
You'll be well‐organised with the ability to prioritise workload to meet tight time schedules when required.
You'll be dependable, committed, and able to work Mon‐Fri 30 hours per week consistently.
You'll have full Australian working rights.
What To Expect
Successful candidates will be required to complete a range of pre‐employment checks and assessments.
These vary and could include professional references, a functional questionnaire, a national police check, a working‐with‐children check, vaccination evidence, among others.
