As demand continues to grow, we are seeking experiencedSenior Contract Administratorsfor contract opportunities across commercial, residential, mixed-use, health, education and infrastructure sectors throughout the Gold Coast.
These roles are suited to commercially minded professionals who can quickly integrate into established project teams, take ownership of procurement and contract administration functions, and contribute to successful project outcomes from pre-award through to project completion.
The Opportunity
Working alongside Project Managers, Commercial Managers and Construction Managers, you will play a key role in managing the commercial performance of complex projects.
Your responsibilities may include:
Administering head contracts and managing contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
Leading procurement activities, including tender preparation, evaluation, negotiation and subcontract award.
Preparing, negotiating and administering subcontract agreements.
Managing subcontractor variations, extensions of time, claims and commercial correspondence.
Assessing progress claims and preparing payment schedules in accordance with Security of Payment legislation.
Preparing cost reports, forecasts, cashflows and Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).




Identifying and managing commercial risk while ensuring contractual compliance.
Maintaining accurate contract registers and commercial documentation.
Building strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
Supporting the project team to achieve commercial objectives and successful project delivery.
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
5+ years' experience in contract administration within the Australian construction industry.
Proven experience delivering commercial outcomes on projects with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors, developers or major subcontractors.
Strong knowledge of procurement, subcontract management and commercial administration.
Experience managing variations, claims, extensions of time and contractual correspondence.
A sound understanding of Security of Payment legislation and standard forms of contract, including AS**** and AS****.
Excellent commercial judgement, negotiation skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within high-performing project teams.

Experience gained on major projects in the UK, Ireland or comparable construction markets,



together with internationally recognised qualifications or professional memberships such as RICS, CIOB or equivalent, will be highly regarded where relevant to the role.
Experience That Will Set You Apart
Delivery of projects valued at $50M+ across commercial, residential, mixed-use or infrastructure sectors.
Experience working within Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor environments.
Exposure to Design & Construct procurement models.
Proficiency with commercial systems such as Procore, Aconex, COINS, Cheops, Jobpac or similar.
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills across multidisciplinary project teams.
