We are currently seeking reliable and hardworkingWaste Picking Station Labourersto join our Hope Valley team.

About the Role
Working on our Waste Picking Station, you will be responsible for sorting recyclable materials from the waste stream to maximise resource recovery while maintaining a safe, efficient and productive work workplace.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work as part of a close-knit team to help recover recyclable materials that would otherwise end up in landfill.
Shift Details
Candidates must be available to work between6:00am and 6:00pmas required, with example shifts including6:00am – 3:00pmand9:00am – 6:00pm.
Monday to Friday roster.
Overtime opportunities are available from time to time based on operational requirements, including Saturdays when required.
Key Responsibilities
Sort recyclable materials from the conveyor safely and efficiently.
Remove contamination and recover recyclable products.
Perform manual handling tasks including lifting, shovelling and general clean-up duties.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area.
Follow all company policies, procedures and safety requirements.




Work collaboratively with your team to achieve daily production targets.
Report hazards, incidents and maintenance issues promptly.
Undertake general housekeeping and other duties as reasonably directed.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A current Australian Driver's Licence and your own reliable vehicle (essential).
Australian working rights.
A solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
The ability to perform repetitive manual tasks and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
A reliable work ethic with excellent attendance and punctuality.
The ability to work well within a team.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous experience in waste management, recycling, manufacturing, production or labouring is advantageous but not essential.
