Role Description This is a full-time, in office Osteopath role based at Asana Health in Port Douglas, QLD.
The Osteopath will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and differential diagnosis of musculoskeletal and related conditions.
Daily responsibilities include providing osteopathic manipulative treatment, developing individualized rehabilitation and exercise programs, and coordinating care plans to support long-term patient outcomes.
The role involves maintaining accurate clinical records, communicating clearly with patients about treatment options and progress, and collaborating with other health professionals as needed.
The Osteopath is also expected to participate in practice development activities, uphold skilled and ethical standards,



and contribute to a welcoming and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications Strong clinical skills in Osteopathy and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, with the ability to assess and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.Competence in Medicine and Physical Therapy principles relevant to osteopathic practice, including safe application of manual therapies.Experience in Rehabilitation, including designing and monitoring exercise and recovery programs tailored to individual patient needs.Recognized qualification in Osteopathy (e.g., Bachelor or Master level) and current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional board or authority.Commitment to evidence-informed practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to clinical governance and safety standards.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, educate patients, and work effectively within a small team.Ability to manage a full-time clinical caseload on-site, demonstrate reliability, and maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation.Experience working in private practice or community healthcare settings is desirable; familiarity with electronic health records and basic practice administration is an advantage.
