We're now looking for a 5 + years PAE Lawyer experienced in Commercial Leasing to join our team in Bundall.
What You'll Do
As an experienced member of our Commercial Property team, you'll help to lead a diverse commercial leasing practice and work closely with our Partners to deliver practical, commercially focused advice to a broad range of clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial and retail leasing matters from instruction through to completion.
· Drafting, reviewing and negotiating Commercial Leases, Retail Shop Leases, Agreements for Lease, Subleases, Licences, and other leasing documentation.
· Advising landlords and tenants on lease negotiations, renewals, options, assignments, variations, surrenders, defaults, make good obligations, and leasing disputes.
· Providing strategic and commercially focused advice across office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with our established portfolio of commercial landlords, developers, property managers, and tenants.
· Leading and mentoring an experienced team of paralegals, supporting their development while ensuring matters progress efficiently.
· Managing files with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining exceptional client service and attention to detail.
· Contributing to the continued growth of our Commercial Leasing practice through business development, networking, and strengthening long-term client relationships.
What You'll Bring




· 5+ years PAE in commercial property, specifically leasing.
· A current QLD Practising Certificate.
· Demonstrated ability to independently manage a broad range of leasing matters from commencement through to completion.
· Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and technical legal skills.
· A practical, commercially minded approach to providing legal advice.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior lawyers and paralegals.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a genuine commitment to outstanding client service.
· Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
