Our Host Employer is a Local Government Council located in the Adelaide Hills.
They are seeking a motivated individual to commence in Spring ****, working in their Setting and Natural Assets team.
Under a traineeship opportunity you will study a Certificate III in Arboriculture, while working alongside an experienced team.
If you enjoy hands‐on work, take pride in outdoor spaces, have a passion for Biodiversity, Arboriculture & Horticulture, this could be the role for you.
About the Role:
Tree revegetation
Pruning, trimming and hedging
Planting and mulching
Vegetation maintenance of paths, watercourses and bio retention basins




Opportunity to work in local Bushland environments
9-day fortnight with full PPE provided
What We're Looking For:
Strong reliability and work ethic
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment including a drug and alcohol test
Willingness to work outdoors in all conditions
Local to the Adelaide Hills Region
Able to commit to a 3-year traineeship
Holder of current drivers' licence and reliable transport
