About the Role
AEROBOND Defence is a purpose-built manufacturing facility delivering high-quality composite solutions for Australia's defence industry.
Based in Woodville South, we are proud to support long-term defence programs and are seeking motivated Manufacturing Team Members to join our growing production team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacture and finishing of composite components to the highest standards.
This is a hands-on role suited to individuals with manufacturing experience who enjoy precision work and take pride in producing quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
o Manufacture, prepare and finish composite components in accordance with work instructions and quality standards
o Operate hand tools, power tools and manufacturing equipment safely and effectively
o Perform sanding, trimming, finishing and general component preparation
o Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and technical documentation
o Read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications
o Maintain a clean, safe and organised work setting
o Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily production targets
o Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
o Adhere to all workplace health, safety and quality requirements
About You




o Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
o Experience working with composite materials (highly regarded but not essential)
o Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and confidently
o Experience with sanding, finishing, trimming or similar detail-oriented manufacturing tasks
o Strong attention to detail
o The ability to follow documented procedures and work instructions
o Good manual dexterity and practical problem-solving skills
o The physical capability to perform manual handling and repetitive production tasks
o Basic computer skills
o Experience working within quality controlled or regulated environments
Due to the nature of our work, candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance
