The Hedge Man

Adelaide

Multiple Positions Available
Amenity Pruning - Team Leaders and Team Members | Garden Maintenance - Team Leaders and Team Members
The Hedge Manis Adelaide's oldest gardening company.
We began many decades ago as a dedicated specialist hedging service which has now grown to offer full soft landscaping and gardening services to residential clients, private estates and discerning businesses.
We do not do rinse and repeat commercial work.
As one of Adelaide's leading green space companies and (still) Adelaide's premier hedge specialist, we look after some of the most prestigious properties in South Australia, some of the humble ones and everything in between.
Unlike many gardening and landscaping companies,The Hedge Manis committed to delivering exceptional quality.
We take the time to carefully tailor our services to each client's unique needs, using products and techniques that align with their preferences.
Our focus is on providing a meticulous, high-standard service that leaves every property pristine.
If you share our passion for excellence in horticulture, have a mean eye for detail, take pleasure in a job well done and are eager to join a team that values quality and craftsmanship - we would love to hear from you.
If you have that rare ability to be polished with an edge of sophisticated Rizz about you - we have to hear from you!!
You will enjoy working at The Hedge Man for many reasons:
A team environment: Whilst day to day you will work in teams of 2-3, we regularly all get together for training, tool box, equipment maintenance or simply just to say hi.
We sometimes even drag partners along just so that they can meet the people you talk about when you get home and put a face to a name (and no doubt a cracker of a story);
You are a person: a husband, a mother, a brother, a daughter.
You have a family and personal commitments and we get that you are simply trying (just like the rest of us) to do your best to balance work / life.
As a family friendly business we embrace flexibility and we do our best to help our THM family do their best.
This includes mandated time off in school holidays and at Christmas to spend time with the family;
We are not a revolving door: We hire people we want to lift up and encourage to be the best they can be.
We actively encourage technical specialisation and pay for additional training and qualifications;
Our wages are not only significantly above Award but (from our intel)

the best in Adelaide because we value the skills and experiences you have and we want you to feel appreciated.
Each and every pay cycle we pay bonuses for qualifications, skills sets, leadership responsibilities and commissions; and
Team Leaders are allocated a 4WD ute (that is theirs to love and hold all week and weekends and can be used for personal trips), petrol card, mobile phone, tablet, winter and summer uniforms, a mountain of Stihl equipment and 8 x 6 caged tipper trailers.
