About Us:
Smalls Power Poles and Linework is a leading underground and overhead electrical infrastructure contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality utility projects across NSW.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor with a background in electrical utility infrastructure to lead and manage civil crews on key projects.
The Role:
As the Civil Supervisor, you will oversee all civil works related to Level 1 ASP projects, including trenching, conduit installation and substation site preparation.
You'll lead site teams, ensure safety and compliance, and deliver projects to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise civil crews on underground electrical utility projects
- Coordinate materials trenching, conduit installation, backfilling and reinstatement
- Ensure compliance with company WHS, environmental, and quality standards
- Liaise with project managers and subcontractors
- Maintain daily site records and progress reports
- Conduct toolbox talks and site inspections




Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Civil Works Supervisor in electrical infrastructure
- Solid understanding of electrical civil works (Substation site preparation, conduit systems, cable hauling)
- Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills
- White Card and current driver's licence (MR/HR preferred)
- Relevant tickets (First Aid, Endeavour Energy ESR etc.) highly regarded
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans
