As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group is seeking a Production Scheduler to join our team at our head office in Adelaide (Ferryden Park) within our Skids department.

Schedule
Full-time
A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).
Salary (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration).
The Position
The Production Scheduler is responsible in developing, maintaining and coordinating the master production schedule for the Skid Division.
Working closely with the Skid Project Manager and cross-functional teams, the role ensures the manufacturing, procurement, testing, commissioning and delivery activities are effectively aligned to support successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage project production schedules to support the successful delivery of skid division projects.
Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and delivery teams.
Monitor progress against project milestones, identifying schedule risks and resource constraints and implementing corrective actions.
Coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning activities, and client inspections to ensure project readiness and delivery commitments are met.
Provide regular project scheduling, progress, and forecast reporting to internal stakeholders and clients.
Drive continuous improvement in production planning and scheduling processes.
The Candidate
Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet critical deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling, reporting and project coordination.
Th ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams while operating independently when required.
Establishing, managing, and reporting on project schedule, delivery, and stakeholder management.
Desired Competencies
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project (MS Project), Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills, including the development, maintenance and reporting of complex project schedules.
Demonstrated experience in Production Scheduling, Project Scheduling, or Project Coordination roles.
Strong understanding of project planning principles, critical path scheduling (CPM), resource allocation, milestone management and schedule forecasting.
Experience within switchboard manufacturing, engineering, modular skid construction, industrial, mining, oil & gas, electrical infrastructure, or similar project-based environments.
Experience coordinating testing and commissioning activities, including FAT and SAT processes (desirable).
Knowledge of ERP or manufacturing management systems and project reporting processes (desirable).
