About The Role
TheWarehouse Operator, Counter Salesis aFull-timeposition based atCarrara, QLD.
Reporting to theStore Manager, you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the store and warehouse.
In This Role You Will
Provide exceptional customer service for all customers in store and warehouse.
Stock movements and maintenance of stock.
Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements.
Unloading inbound orders of stock.
Serving customers in the warehouse, e.g., loading customers' vehicles with a forklift or manually as required.
Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to.
Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
Contribute to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.
Your standard working hours are Monday to Friday between 6:00 am and 3:00 pm (with the potential for 5:00 am starts), totaling a 38‐hour week, with any additional hours beyond 38 paid at overtime rates (including Saturdays).
What You Bring To The Role
Forklift licence is advantageous or willing to obtain one.
Possess a strong work ethic.
Approachable,
confident interaction with customers.
Aeagerness to learn about products and services.
Computer literacy and/or familiarity with POS systems is highly regarded.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Confident and well‐presented when dealing with customers.
Experience working in a fast‐paced and busy environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
