About The Role We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 20 hours per fortnight.
Experience in scrub/ scout desirable.
Monday to Friday flexible roster, some Saturday work available and is optional.
No public holidays and the Christmas/ New Year period closed.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient careEnsure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgeryEnsure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focusMonitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complicationsDeliver education and support to patients for the management of their recoverySupervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.
You will have:
Solid experience in a Scrub/ Scout Endoscopy role in a perioperative setting.Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseAbility to work a flexible rosterExceptional interpersonal and communication skills A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care Experience in below specialties desirable
