As our highly valued Lifestyle Coordinator, you will enhance the wellbeing, independence, and quality of life of residents through coordinating the provision of a meaningful and engaging lifestyle program.
You will also be responsible for coordinating the home's volunteer program, to enhance resident engagement and connection.

Delivering person-centred lifestyle services that promote residents' physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, cognitive and social wellbeingBuilding meaningful relationships with residents to understand their life history, preferences, strengths, goals, and support needsDesigning, coordinating, and implementing an inclusive lifestyle program that reflects resident choice and aligns with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality StandardsMaintaining accurate documentation of resident participation, attendance, preferences, and outcomesConducting regular evaluations of the lifestyle program using resident feedback, surveys, observations, audits, quality indicators and participation dataCoordinating the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and ongoing support of volunteersProviding leadership, guidance, and support to Lifestyle Assistants
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
Certificate IV in Leisure and HealthMinimum 12 months experience working within aged care, disability, community services, or a related sectorDemonstrated understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and person centred care principlesProficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systemsExperience supporting older people and/or vulnerable individualsStrong interpersonal, communication, organisation, and time management skillsAbility to lead, coordinate, and motivate staff and volunteersAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamExperience in program planning, evaluation, and quality improvement activitiesDriver's LicenceValid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willing to obtain one
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
Degree level qualification in Leisure and Health, Community Services, Social Work, or related fieldCertificate III in Aged CareCurrent First Aid certificateExperience coordinating volunteers or community engagement program
