With opportunities at Yancoal's Mount Thorley Warkworth mine, we are currently seeking candidates interested in a career within the Mining industry for aMechanical Fitter Apprenticeship.
Mt Thorley Warkworth (MTW) is a large open pit coal operation located in the NSW Hunter Valley region approximately 10km Southwest of Singleton.

With a world class CHPP and fleet of mining equipment - a diverse range of trucks, excavators, draglines, shovels, water carts, graders, dozers and drills, there is never a dull moment!

Inherent requirements of employment
Must hold a current driver's licence or have plans to obtain a driver's licence within the first 12 months




Completion of HSC is desirable but not required
Candidates must live within a one (1) hour drive of Yancoal's Mount Thorley Warkworth mine sites
All school leavers from **** & **** must provide a copy of school reports
All shortlisted candidates will need to undertake and successfully pass a pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol Testing
We are seeking people with a positive can-do attitude who have excellent communication skills, enjoy hands‐on learning, excel at problem solving, are well organised, have attention to detail, and can deliver the best outcome for Programmed and Yancoal.
