Yarra Ranges Enterprise Centres Ltd (YREC) is a not-for-profit organisation, established to support the growth and development of small and micro businesses within the Yarra Ranges region.
YREC operates a small business hub.
The organisation is run by a Board to which the Executive officer (EO) reports.
Due to the impending retirement of the current EO, the Board is seeking a committed, motivated and experienced EO to lead and manage the development of its Warburton, and in future potentially other centres in the upper Yarra Ranges.
The successful candidate will possess strong drive and be able to work under minimal supervision to deliver business support programs and initiatives while also being accountable for the day-to-day administration of the organisation, supported by a small administration team.
The position is based at our Warburton Centre and is currently 3 days per week,



with some flexibility in hours / days worked and a requirement to attend around 6 Board meetings per year, after normal working hours.
The Executive Officer drives the operational success, community growth, and commercial performance of our business hub in Warburton.
This role manages 25 dedicated tenant spaces alongside shared meeting infrastructure and is focussed on creating an energetic, collaborative setting, tailored to small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) and fast-growing startups.
The EO is also responsible for ensuring all legislative requirements are met with ASIC and the management and supervision of junior staff, who form part of the overall YREC management and administration team.
