About the job
You will lead the day-to-day performance and development of our support desk team, with the opportunity to take on greater oversight of project delivery over time.
Lead team meetings, regular one-on-ones and coaching conversations
Set explicit expectations and support team members to perform at their best
Own ticket quality, SLA performance and escalation triage
Coordinate team rostering, leave coverage and major incident response
Monitor workloads and help remove operational bottlenecks
Drive improvements to processes, documentation and service consistency
Support the recruitment, interviewing and onboarding of new team members as the service delivery team grows
Work closely with management and senior technical staff to improve the client experience
Skills & experience
Experience leading,



supervising or mentoring a technical support or service delivery team
Previous experience working within an IT managed services provider
Strong technical foundations and the credibility to guide triage and escalation decisions
The ability to balance people leadership with hands-on operational oversight
A calm, clear and practical communication style, particularly under pressure
Strong organisation, follow-through and accountability
A genuine interest in developing people and building a high-performing team
