Eligibility:Open to EveryoneAbout the Role:As the first point of contact for
customers, the Administration Support Officer delivers a high
standard of customer service and administrative support for the
effective and productive operation of the Native Vegetation Unit
team.
The role also provides administrative support in
correspondence, reporting and coordination of business.
The role
takes responsibility for processing, providing responses and
communicating outcomes regarding the Native Vegetation clearance
applications, compliance cases and correspondence.
The role also
provides information and advice on the administration of the Native
Vegetation Act ****, regulations, policies, guideline and forms to
internal and external customers, to achieve the objectives of the
unit and the Department.

Special
Conditions:
May be
required to participate in responses to state emergencies or
associated duties.
You
must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or provide
evidence that you hold a valid working visa that allows you to
work in Australia without restrictions.
This
role requires candidates to provide a Nationally Coordinated
Criminal History Check which must be renewed every three years
before expiry.
DEW will cover the cost of renewal.
May be
required to undertake intra or interstate travel, occasional
overnight absences, and work outside of the normal hours of
work.
A
successful applicant who is not currently employed by the
Department for Environment and Water will be required to have an
original photo identification document sighted and provide a
valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) issued
within the last 12 months.
Remuneration:
ASO3, $74,095
min - $78,694 max p.a.
