As we take on more work, we're looking for a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team and grow with us.
About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent civil engineering graduate to launch their career with a supportive, hands-on team.
You'll work closely with our estimators, project managers and site teams, developing the technical and commercial skills that underpin a successful career in civil construction.
No two days will be the same, and you'll be given real responsibility from the start.
What you'll be doing
Reviewing and assessing engineering and construction drawings to understand project scope and requirements
Developing detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
Preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to support estimating and tendering
Assisting the estimating and project teams with measurements, calculations and documentation
Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams to gather pricing and technical information
Supporting the broader project delivery process as you build your experience
What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or similar), or nearing completion
Solid attention to detail and solid numerical and analytical skills
The ability to read and interpret construction drawings (or a genuine willingness to learn)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; exposure to take-off or estimating software is a bonus
Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-first attitude
A current driver's licence
