About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy Invermay Service Centre.
You'll be responsible for driving workshop performance, supporting and developing the service advisory team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and ensuring efficient workshop operations.
Working closely with Parts, Workshop Control and senior leadership, you'll play a key role in achieving customer satisfaction, team engagement and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the Service Advisors and front-of-house team.
Oversee daily workshop workflow, scheduling and customer bookings.
Manage customer enquiries and resolve escalated concerns professionally.
Monitor departmental performance, KPIs and profitability.
Ensure manufacturer standards and dealership processes are maintained.
Work collaboratively with the workshop, parts and sales departments.
Drive continuous improvement across customer experience and operational efficiency.
Support staff training, coaching and performance development.
Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
About You
You'll be an experienced leader who thrives in a fast-paced dealership workplace and enjoys building high-performing teams.
You'll bring:
Previous experience managing an automotive service department.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
Experience using dealership management systems and service scheduling software.
A sound understanding of workshop operations and manufacturer requirements.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
A focus on continuous improvement and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
A current driver's licence.
