About the Role
Sands Fridge Lines is seeking a motivated and capable HR Advisor to join our HR team in Forrestfield.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will partner with leaders and employees across the business, providing hands-on HR and Industrial Relations support in a fast-paced logistics environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your HR career within a supportive and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advice and guidance to leaders on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
Support employees with general HR enquiries
Assist with employee relations matters, including absenteeism, performance management, disciplinary issues, and grievance resolution
Support managers with performance reviews and appraisal processes
Coordinate HR programs such as training, development, and engagement initiatives
Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation and relevant regulations
Update and maintain HR policies and procedures
Prepare employment contracts, performance and disciplinary documentation
Coordinate onboarding, recent starter paperwork, and system setup




Maintain accurate HR records within HR systems (UKG & Kronos)
Provide support to the Recruitment team as needed
Requirements
About You
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
3+ years' experiencein a generalist HR role
Strong understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices
Experience using HR systems (UKG highly regarded)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Strong written communication skills for policy and documentation preparation
Confident interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player
