Marysville and District Kindergarten Association Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and qualifiedKindergarten Teacherto join our early childhood education team.
This is apart-time positionbased inMarysville, VIC ****.
As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children during their formative years.
Your work will directly contribute to the developmental outcomes and wellbeing of young learners, creating a nurturing environment where children can explore, learn and grow.
Key responsibilities
Planning, implementing and evaluating engaging educational activities and experiences that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative development
Creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and a love of learning
Observing and assessing individual children's progress and development, maintaining detailed records and documenting learning outcomes
Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, fostering open communication with parents about their child's learning and development
Implementing curriculum frameworks in accordance with early childhood education standards and regulatory requirements
Supporting children's wellbeing and providing guidance on behaviour management and social development
Collaborating with other educators and specialists to address individual children's needs and provide appropriate support
Maintaining accurate documentation, attendance records and health and safety practices




Participating in career development and contributing to the continuous improvement of service quality
What we're looking for
Recognised early childhood teaching qualification VIT registered.
Valid Working with Children Check and current First Aid and CPR certification
Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development theories and contemporary early childhood education practices
Experience planning and delivering play-based learning experiences that support all developmental domains
Robust communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children, families and team members
Commitment to creating inclusive environments that respect diversity and support children with additional needs
Knowledge of Victorian early childhood frameworks and regulatory requirements, including the National Quality Standards
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture
Demonstrated commitment to child safety, wellbeing and ethical practice
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping and documentation
