About the Role
About Us:
Smalls Power Poles and Linework is a leading underground and overhead electrical infrastructure contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality utility projects across NSW.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrician to work on underground/overhead high/low voltage (HV/LV) infrastructure projects.
The Role:
As an ASP ESI electrican, you will be responsible for installing, jointing, terminating, and maintaining underground and overhead infrastructure for Level 1 ASP projects.
The role requires strong technical skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform HV and LV installations on both underground and overhead electrical networks
- Carry out the installation of switchgear, substations, power poles, light columns on distribution network
- Conduct fault finding, testing, and maintenance on electrical infrastructure
- Ensure work complies with relevant safety and quality standards
- Accurately complete job records, reports, and documentation
Requirements:




- Certificate III in Electrotechnology OR ESI – Power Systems – Overhead distribution/Distribution Cable Jointing (or equivalent).
- Overhead distribution / cable jointing experience highly regarded
- Experience in LV and HV jointing (up to 33kV)
- Authorised to work on Endeavour Energy network (Ausgrid and Essential Energy highly regarded)
- White Card and valid driver's licence (MR/HR preferred)
- Excellent understanding of safety procedures and risk management
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans
