We're building a stronger field leadership team across our SA Catching operation.
If you know how to run a catching crew — keep people safe, moving, and accountable — this role was designed for you.
THE OPPORTUNITY
– Own the full daily management of catching personnel and field activities
– Lead recruitment, inductions and onboarding for your crew
– Drive safety culture through toolbox talks, field observations and SOP compliance
– Review and approve day sheets and coordinate payroll information
– Report weekly to the Operations Manager on staffing, safety and training
– Manage attendance, leave and probation periods across your team
WHAT YOU BRING
– Proven experience leading field or labour-intensive teams in agriculture or primary industry
– Strong safety mindset — you hold the line on PPE and SOPs without being asked
– Confident managing shift changes,
coverage gaps and workforce pressure
– Comfortable with basic admin — day sheets, attendance records and reporting
– Catching industry experience highly regarded but not essential
