We are seeking an experiencedFood & Beverage Events and Activations Managerto provide strategic leadership and oversight of all functions, events, and bar operations across the HOTA precinct.
About the Role
This is a senior leadership role responsible for the planning, commercial performance, and strategic direction of Culinary Arts across HOTA's vibrant program of events, festivals, and experiences.
Working closely with Culinary Arts, Programming, Commercial and Sales & Events teams, you will ensure food and beverage is embedded into event planning from concept through to delivery, maximising guest experience, operational excellence and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Lead the food and beverage strategy across HOTA events, activations and functions.
Embed Culinary Arts into event planning from concept through delivery.
Commercial Performance
Drive revenue growth and profitability.
Develop commercial food and beverage offerings.
Forecast revenue and prepare business cases.
Leadership
Lead, coach and develop operational leaders.
Build a high-performing event operations team.
Establish systems and standards.
Stakeholder Management
Work collaboratively with Programming,



Sales & Events and external partners.
Ensure seamless delivery across major events.
You'll be successful in this role if you:
Enjoy working in fast-paced event environments where every week is different.
Are equally comfortable developing strategy and rolling up your sleeves during event delivery.
Have led hospitality or event operations across festivals, entertainment venues, convention centres, stadiums or premium hospitality environments.
Are commercially minded and enjoy improving profitability without compromising guest experience.
Naturally build strong relationships across multiple departments.
Enjoy mentoring leaders and creating high-performing teams.
Remain calm under pressure and can confidently manage competing priorities.
