Maintenance Fitter
Location:North Fremantle WA
Employment Type:Full-Time, Permanent
Rate: $47 - $48 p/h + super + overtime
Hours: ******pm Monday to Friday.
1 hr break (30 minutes paid)
Overtime: Overtime available!!

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivatedMaintenance Fitterto join our maintenance team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on tradesperson who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, and working collaboratively to minimise downtime while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimise production downtime.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and support continuous production.
Ensure all work complies with food safety, quality, and workplace health and safety requirements.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
About You
To be successful in this role,



you will have:
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, or equivalent.
Previous maintenance experience
Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, pneumatic systems, and packaging equipment.
Basic welding and fabrication skills (desirable).
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
