As Events Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering seamless events while supporting the day-to-day Food & Beverage operation ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
The role and key duties...
Oversee the delivery of all events, ensuring seamless setup, service and pack down.
Assist the Restaurant Manager in leading restaurant operations during non-event periods, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth daily operations.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients and guests, delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Coordinate with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage team to ensure productive service delivery and successful event execution.
Monitor event and restaurant operations, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
Lead, support and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service standards.
Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, food safety and operational readiness across all venues.
Support labour, stock and cost control initiatives across events and restaurant operations.
Ensure compliance with WHS, liquor licensing and company policies.
Build strong relationships with clients and guests to encourage repeat business and positive feedback.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
You'll thrive in this role if you have...
Previous experience in a leadership role within events, restaurants, or hotels environments.
Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including restaurant and event service standards.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
A talent for customer service with a vibrant and outgoing nature;
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Robust organisational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to operational excellence.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by the business.
