About the Role
This is a hands-on role responsible for the servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse fleet of civil and transport equipment.
The successful applicant will be confident working both in the workshop and in the field, with occasional travel required.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair heavy earthmoving equipment and fleet vehicles.
Diagnose and fault-find mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
Carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
Complete work to a high standard while maintaining accurate service records.
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Travel to various sites as required to support field service operations.
Essential Requirements
Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
Strong knowledge and experience with:




Caterpillar Excavators
Caterpillar Graders
Posi-Track Equipment
Sound experience working on:
On-highway trucks
Light vehicles
Proven ability to diagnose and repair electrical faults.
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own workload.
Current driver's licence (HR licence advantageous).
